Our client is seeking a Learning and Capability Lead to work with their customer experience platform program to drive and quality assure the delivery of SAP learning services (from a service provider) in line with the strategic outcomes and organisational standards.

The role will require the Learning and Capability Lead to build relationships quickly within the Program team and business to ensure delivery is on track. The Learning and Capability Lead will also need to be adaptable with their approach to cater to Program shifts and work within a large transformation with multiple streams of work and complexities. The person in this role will be supported by a Technical Writer, as well as, a large team from a learning services provider.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a geographically distributed team in partnership with a learning services provider Lead counterpart. 
  • Drive delivery of the learning program in accordance with the Learning Strategy, Approach and organisation learning and capability standards. 
  • Provide regular status reports and represent the Learning and Capability stream in key forums. 
  • Define an ongoing learning model for sustainability and re-use. 
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies. 
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and provide regular updates to the team. 
  • Work within the budgetary constraints of the Program to deliver outcomes. 
    Review all work products from the services provider for quality, accuracy and adherence to the organisations strategic needs.

Role requirements:

  • Strong leadership, attention to detail and influencing skills that will suit a proactive and outgoing self-starter.
  • Subject matter expertise in delivering SAP learning programs, solid project management skills and a strong ‘can do’ approach is essential.
  • Use of SAP Enable Now to deliver learning programs. 
  • Qualification in adult learning, capability development or organisational change management
  • 7+ years’ experience in leading teams (direct reports and resources in cross matrix structures). The person in this role will be supported by a Technical Writer, as well as, a large team from a learning services provider.
