About the business

Deliverit was grown out of a love of food. Pizza to be exact. With years of working in the hospitality takeaway industry and experiencing the challenges that face owners and managers we knew there had to be a better way. This was back in 1992 when there were no Australian POS systems readily available. So, we created a POS system that would help Melbourne restaurants, cafes and takeaway stores process orders faster, reduce order errors and support customer service that was out of this world.

Fast forward more than twenty years and we're proud to have our POS systems in cafes, restaurants and takeaway shops throughout Melbourne, and across Australia.

About the role

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn to join our team as a implementation technician in a full time role. This role may provide opportunities for travel.

    The Role:

    • Implementing and installing hardware and software into hospitality stores both remotely and onsite
    • Configuring software and hardware to suit clients' needs
    • Networking configuration
    • System software testing
    • Maintaining web applications
    • Maintaining a relationship with clients through their installation
    • Providing phone support 
    • Liaise with internal website team to create websites
    • Providing training 
    • Travelling domestically to stores – There will be overnight stays

    Skills and experience

    Skills Required:

    • Basic knowledge of windows PC hardware and computer networking
    • Commitment to providing superior customer service
    • Self-motivated, reliable & responsible
    • Australian driver's license and car
    • Previous work experience in the hospitality industry, especially in the pizza industry
    • Previous work in a similar field
    • IT Qualifications
    • Website and domain experience
    • SQL knowledge
    • It is a prerequisite that you are an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen to apply for this role
