The Role

The CMS Pega Applications officer reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications and works within a multi-skilled team to support the organisation's Case Management System. In doing so they will be working closely with service delivery managers to develop and elaborate on new requirements, developing client data & information reports, and providing ongoing development, maintenance, support, and performance tuning of existing databases and applications.

The Team

The Information and Technology division headed by the CIO is key in delivering a framework of knowledge management and corresponding systems to optimise organisation memory and (internal & external) knowledge. It is about making sure that the right knowledge is available to the right people, that the organisation can learn from this knowledge, and be able to retrieve and use its business intelligence in current and future applications as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Considerable relevant experience in configuring complex applications using Pega 6 / Pega 7
• Relevant tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Excellent time management and organisation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to understand a customer’s business needs and translate those needs into IT specific requirements e.g Requirements workshops, focus groups, BPMN
• Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; with the ability to explain it to both business and technology stakeholders
• Ability to configure applications on Pega CMS 7 framework
• Ability to lead each of the Project lifecycle phases
• Ability to configure and maintain applications using Pega 7. Able to debug the applications to identify issues proactively
• The ability to obtain National Criminal Record, Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme, and Working with Children checks
