We are currently seeking an IT Support person to join our team in a permanent full time role at our office in Melbourne Northern Suburbs.
You will be first point of call for all IT needs, but will have backup support from higher-level technical professionals as required. It is a small team where you will work closely with and provide ongoing day-to-day support to a variety of remote and local users.
Key responsibilities
- Windows troubleshooting
- Hardware and software support
- Basic networking
- Mobile phone/device support
- Support IT/office equipment
- Managing user accounts in Active Directory & Exchange and software applications
- Maintain IT asset register
- Escalate issues to relevant teams as necessary
Key requirements
This role requires previous hands-on IT support experience. The successful candidate must also be reliable and an excellent communicator.
- Experience working in an IT Service Desk or Level 1 Support Role
- Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, phone manner and written
- Windows/Active Directory/Exchange experience
- Basic Networking experience
- Strong MS Office Suite support skills, MS Access/database knowledge could be an advantage
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Reliability to follow issues through to complete resolution
- Able to multi-task
