About the role
As the Program Scheduler you are accountable for Migration Planning and Scheduling at a Project and Program level, which includes creating and managing: end Customer planned service migrations; integrated Migration and Program Schedules and relevant reporting.
You will be Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Customer Solution Implementation, as a Migration Scheduler you will be accountable for the successful delivery of Customer Service Migration Plans, and Program/Project schedules as required.
Responsibilities
- Migration Planning and Scheduling. Create and manage integrated Schedules and provide relevant reporting.
- As the Migration Scheduler ensure all the Microsoft Project Schedules and timelines are met and escalations are in place to manage any slippages of milestones that are identified.
- Lead, monitor and report on the status of milestones and all key elements of the programme.
- Work with Key Stakeholders such as Program Managers, Project Managers, Senior Management, and RSP Stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to scheduling issues.
- Support change request process to ensure change requests and dependencies are formalised and applied to the schedule.
- Manage varied streams of information through analysis, creating required documentation and reporting.
- Manage data integrity and ensure timeliness of all data is supplied for input into other systems; verify data provided for Dashboards is accurate and according to the specified levels.
- Together with the Project and Program Managers lead the development and implementation of the Scheduling and Dependency Management Framework.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop/amend the process as part of the migration deliverables.
Skills & Experience
- 5 years experience as a Master/Portfolio Scheduler / 10 years working in a Project Delivery environment.
- Ability to understand complex project plans and schedules.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, ability to think and act strategically.
- Experience in Planning, scoping, developing, implementing Project Schedules that are complex and broad in design.
- Experience working to tight deadlines.
- Disciplined approach and excellent organisational skills.
- Participation in Project Scheduling improvement/Continuous Improvement procedures.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint and Outlook
