We are looking for a tenacious, goal driven Business Development Manager to join our growing and successful team.
The successful candidate is one who thrives in generating leads, establishing and nurturing new and existing relationships and building and maintaining a successful portfolio of clients across Government, Education and SME customers.
Solutions IT is a well-established IT support company who provide solutions and services to customers all over Western Australia including regional WA. The company prides itself on providing excellent customer service and solutions.
The company has strong relationships with companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Lenovo and are an Authorised Apple Reseller and Service Provider.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Analyse existing/potential customer needs
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Cold calling, and face to face pitches
- Track sales and provide status reports
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business
- Establish and own the sales plan and strategies, with the main aim to expand the customer portfolio base
- Identify and steer opportunities aimed at business improvement
- Manage relationships with customers
- Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to build market presence
- Collaborate with the business to provide the right tailored solution to each client
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within a Systems Integrator, Cloud Services or Managed Services Provider, or Technology Vendor
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT-based Sales or Account Management capacity
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Confident and great communication
- Ability to work independently and with low supervision
