We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator/Packager for an approx. 9-10 month engagement with a large government department based in the Brisbane CBD.

The Records Manager Upgrade Project: 

The department is currently using Records Manager version 8.3 hosted on government Infrastructure. The Records Manager Upgrade 2017-18 project will upgrade and migrate the departments Records Manager to the latest supported version, which will be provided as a cloud based solution. The project outcomes are:

• Procurement of solution by way of Request for Proposal (RFP) and established contract with service provider
• Records Manager UAT and PRD environments hosted and supported offsite under 'as a Service' arrangements
• All Council Records Manager users upgraded to the latest supported software version and the environment is stable
• Third party integration modules for Records Manager are compatible to support the latest supported version of Records Manager, and are tested for current functionality
• Improved Records Manager and Records Manager Web Client functionality for more efficient and effective records and document management
• Change management model for improved record keeping practices using Records Manager and to support future upgrades delivered by the service provider
• Council's on premise Records Manager server environments are decommissioned

Responsiblities:
The technical consultant will:

• Work directly with the RM as a Service selected supplier to ensure the install packages they provide are fit for Council purpose
• Develop robust uninstallation packages for the multiple platforms
• Review, update and test the custom group policy scripts that copy back and forth the RM configuration settings to local application data on Windows 7 & Windows 10
• Bug fixing during testing
• Rebuild PC's and setup specific Council environments on the project test computers
• Setup and maintain test computer lab for UAT
• Deploy RM 9 client package to all Council desktops

Requirements:
The resource will have experience with:

• 3 + years experience in a position of Systems Administrator/Engineer/Applications packager.
• Familiarity with Records Manager as an application is highly desirable but not a requirement
• Windows 7 and 10 environments
• SCCM 7 and Current Branch
