Our client is undertaking a huge Transformation project which has driven demand for a seasoned Organisational Change Manager to come on board for a 6 month rolling contract.OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Organisational Change Manager is responsible for directing and leading the engagement of the business in line with the Program/Project principles and to oversee the development of the organisational change management scope and materials/delivery.
This position will lead and deliver the change management activities: influencing, engaging, communicating with and reporting back to key program and business senior stakeholders; working closely with key strategic programs to align any Change Management deployment with other Programs of work in an integrated manner.
The idea candidates will have experience on Transformation Projects and solid project experience covering the primary duties and responsibilities below.
- Applies a structured organisational change management strategy, approach and methodology for the people side of change resulting from changes being introduced by the Program/Project.
- Develops actionable and targeted change management plans – including Strategy, Impact Assessment, Readiness Assessment, Leadership Action Plan and input into Communication Plan
- Works with the Organisational Change Management team to conduct impact assessments, readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings in a logical and easy to understand manner
- Ensure the resources and assets required to achieve the plans are available and performing as needed
- Identifies and develops mitigation plans for people related risks and issues that may impact the delivery
- Provides input into the development of relevant budgets and forecasts within guidelines
- Manage and monitor business readiness and change leadership effectiveness at the Division, function and business unit
- Work closely with the PMO office to ensure alignment and integration of Change Management initiatives and activities
- Engages key functions (such as Corporate Affairs and Human Resources) who are specialist in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support program implementation
