About the role
 
The Wintel Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of technical support professionals within the IT Outsourcing group to ensure best practice support methodology is practiced, technical experience leveraged and customer outcomes are delivered driving high levels of customer satisfaction. This team encompass the following technologies:- Windows, Cloud Services, Virtual Infrastructure, and Citrix.
 
Key skills required in the role:
  • Experience in leading a team of five or more staff within an I.T. focused delivery role
  • Solid understanding of Wintel technologies and support processes across an outsourced delivery environment
  • Technical proficiency in Office 365,VMware,Skype for Business, Powershell,SCCM and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Public Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS and Citrix Cloud)
  • Past experience in managing complex incidents across multiple delivery units internally and externally
  • ITIL Certifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both a technical and non-technical format
