The Role
As a National Support Team Leaders you’ll be managing 8 reports across Australia. Each one of these reports is at a desktop/system administration level.

This is a busy and challenging role where you’ll be a key leader within the ANZ Team and ‘the face of IT across the nation’.

Your task will be to bridge the gap between IT & the business, manage & coordinate an evolving team & create a new framework for the delivery of IT services.

Focus:
  • Managing and developing 8 x direct reports
  • Incident & problem management
  • Driving a consistent standard
  • Process improvements in line with ITIL
  • Business stakeholder management
  • Vendor management
  • Project management and project delivery 
This role will not be highly technical although at times you will be expected to get onto the tools and provide an escalation function. We would therefore expect the capacity to perform at a system engineering level.

Your Profile
You will have a demonstrated history of working in a 24/7 operations role in large scale, critical environments.
  
Your personality will be highly analytical with the ability to make quick decisive decisions that will affect a leading ASX organisation.
  
Building relationships is also critical for this role. You will have a demonstrated ability in forging long lasting relationships with senior stakeholders at the C level who are not technical.
  
As mentioned earlier you will be the leading face of IT. Therefore exceptional communication & presentation skills is a must!
  
Technical Background:
  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Active Directory Security Administration and Group Policy
  • Exchange (Including O365) and DNS/DHCP
  • Microsoft Windows 07/10
  • Hardware and application software including, but not limited to, VPN, network printers/copiers, Outlook, network connectivity, and PC hardware repair and upgrades
  • Citrix
  • SCCM
  • VMware
  • Commvault
Relevant Microsoft/and or other certifications would be desirable.
