Centrally Located in Canberra
M&T Resources is currently seeking experienced User Experience Analyst/Designer to join a Federal Government Department based in Canberra.
The role requires you to be responsible for working with current application users and other members of the project team to identify and capture improvements in the areas of usability, workflow and related business processes that are driven by user experience and accessibility, and enhance the customer experience.
A successful candidate will meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in designing successful interactive websites/applications as a key member of a user experience team.
- Experience in producing screen designs for usability and accessibility, including WCAG2 compliance requirements.
- Experience in developing and producing user interface specifications, including site maps, interaction diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups (high and low fidelity), personas, prototypes, and style guides.
- Experience in front end web/UI development.
- Experience analysing and documenting existing systems and data and understanding new needs.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Detailed knowledge of UX design principles and techniques, service design, user-centred design principles, website design best practices, visual trends, and emerging web technologies.
- Detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other UI development tools
- Knowledge of web publishing and associated tools.
- Knowledge of approaches to, and techniques for, business or functional analysis
