We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our Melbourne team on a permanent basis. This project focused role will allow you to build on your existing experience, grow your skillset by working on complex projects and take advantage of the learning and development opportunities that Dimension Data provides.
As part of the team, you will be required to:
- Work across multiple projects and clients - building, implementing and optimising complex network solutions around Cisco R&S, Data Centre networking and Unified Communications.
- Liaise with clients on complex networking issues and be available on-site if required
- Own and take responsibility for the delivery of our solutions
- Assure quality standards for a delivered solution or installation
- Take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.
We are looking for someone with:
- Core skills in Routing and Switching (Catalyst and Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k)
- Hands on experience in Wireless or Unified Communications deployments/upgrades will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- CCNA (R&S) essential with CCNP highly regarded
- Good communication skills and customer facing experience
