Associate Project Manager
 

The Associate Project Manager will report directly to the Program Manager and will be responsible for maintaining a rigorous schedule, updating the project planner daily, sourcing, scheduling, quality control, customer management and 3rd party management.

Additionally, you will be required to work with multiple teams throughout the development and report on any delays or issues that may arise. You should be organized, flexible, and possess excellent communications skills. You should be a team player who is able to work under their own initiative and have excellent problem solving and issues resolution skills.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure project delivery across a range of client projects in digital, technology consulting, and customer experience.
• Develop project schedules for clients and internal use.
• Support Project managers in all aspects of programs including the creation and implementation of timelines, budgets, logistical coordination, and production of marketing/communications materials.
• Responsible for project progress through proactively calling regular project team meetings, agenda development, and accurate action reports.
• Review projects for quality assurance and high standards in conjunction with projects lead.
• Participate in brainstorming meetings to develop ideas for programs.
• Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
• Deliver exceptional client service; add value and have an opinion.

Experience Guidelines

• Recent Business, Arts, or Technology graduate, or a unique combination incorporating these three. Some corporate experience.
• An interest in digital, customer experience, and emerging technologies
• Be a strong self-starter and proactive individual.
• Highly organized, ability to work to deadlines and good attention to detail.
• Existing understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
• Good interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills. Ability and desire to work with clients directly and pursue a career in Consulting or Agile Program Management.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and an aptitude for new systems.
