Well known organisation seeks a Solution Designer to be part of the Solution Architecture team, to develop detailed solution design for key projects through the application of architectural methods, standards and principles.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed end-to-end solution design for projects across the organisation, taking into account customer requirements to ensure that the systems have the capacity to meet the business requirements specifications in addition to future proofing andadaptability/scalability.
- Work closely with various IT and business teams to design and define the best fit solution for projects.
- Evaluate new software, tools and techniques.
- Maintain strong communication with business and technical stakeholders to clarify and determine exact goals andrequirements for new systems and services and ensure that expectations are continually aligned.
- Contribute towards the ongoing improvements of IT software development practices and processes.
Experience and skills required:
- Strong knowledge of the IBM Integration Bus (IIB) suite of tools including some of the following products: IIB Process Suite, IBM MQ, IIB Process Orchestration, IIB Integration Designer, IBM BPM, IBM Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), IBM Websphere.
- Solid knowledge of Solution Design and Architecture principles.
- Previous exposure to payment systems would be valued.
