Apek Computer Technology is a Sydney based IT solutions provider that caters to small-to-medium businesses (SMB). Established in 1994, Apek offers innovative and engineered solutions for server and desktop support, enterprise wireless networks, unified communications and bespoke software development. Our client focus includes government offices, education, community services, aged-care and professional services. Apek has industrial partnerships and certifications with leading software and hardware vendors to deliver state-of-the-art IT solutions. Our partners include Microsoft (Silver Midmarket), Cisco (Select), Avaya, Mitel, Citrix and Amazon Web Services.
We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the design, implementation and servicing of IT business solutions. Onsite field work will also be required from time to time.

The candidate must also have:
• Relevant undergraduate university degree
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other networking technologies
• Adequate knowledge and experience in Microsoft Windows Server products (2008/2012) and desktop (Vista/7/8)
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and an excellent grasp of professional and technical writing
• The right to work and live in Australia
It may also be advantageous, but not essential, for the candidate to have:
• Microsoft certifications (i.e. MCSE, MCITP etc.)
• Cisco certifications (i.e. CCNA, CCNE etc)
• Unified Communications certifications (Avaya, Cisco, Mitel)
• Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SQL experience
• Programming experience (eg. C#, C++, Java, PHP, Python etc.)
• Database programming experience (SQL Server, MySQL etc)
• Website design
• Experience with enterprise grade firewalls
• Valid Australian driver's license
