Looking for an exciting opportunity to flex your eCommerce muscles within a high-growth retail business? This is it! You will be a key member of the eCommerce team, taking the lead on translating business strategy into a customer-led eCommerce development.

You will play a central role between the development team and business stakeholders to define and manage the eCommerce and multi-channel road map, including benefit analysis, minimum viable product, prioritisation and overseeing implementation.

You will be actively involved in sourcing 3rd party solutions to deliver business requirements, whilst considering the broader technical infrastructure.

You will have responsibility for:

  • Supporting the development of the eCommerce product vision and strategy
  • Building strong relationships with business stakeholders and your development team
  • Working with UX, development teams and broader business in discovery, estimation and review sessions to estimate cost/benefit models for new initiatives
  • Developing business cases to support optimisation of current solutions and new initiatives
  • Identifying new technology solutions to support strategic vision and assess best fit for purpose based on commerciality, operational and technical impacts
  • Conducting benefit analysis and determine minimum viable product, prioritisation, acceptance criteria and review completed work against agreed criteria.
  • Product backlog management, including defining user stories and prioritisation, to maximise business value
  • Facilitating development by identifying and removing roadblocks, monitoring progress and continually making adjustments to support strategic goals
  • Driving continuous improvement to maintain pace with market, within new initiatives and business as usual maintenance

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a lean agile software development environment, ideally as a PO, but possibly as an agile coach or a similar role
  • Strong track record in the retail or eCommerce development sectors
  • Analytical data-oriented problem solver
  • Ability to quickly grasp a new business problem and lead cross-functional teams to collaboratively reach a solution
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve the product, the environment, and your own skills and knowledge
  • Strong business skills, ideally 4+ years of commercial experience
  • An understanding and appreciation of software development and design, solid technical skillset

This is the perfect role for someone who thinks “customer-first” and is passionate about using technology to improve their experience. In return, you’ll be working for a company that is highly supportive of innovation and change. The sky’s the limit on this one!
