We need a developer.
Not just any developer. We are looking for a developer that answers their phone.
That’s right. It is that simple. When we call, we just want someone who will answer.
It would be even better if ‘sure, no problem’ was a regular response too.
If that is not pushing our luck and you are still reading let’s talk turkey.
We are a creative agency. We outsource the development of our website jobs as we are not developers. We have sites come up regularly that are to be built, rebuilt or maintained in both Drupal and WordPress.
Please note the Drupal part. And one more time… please note the Drupal part.
Yes we know everyone loves WordPress but we are looking for that rare beast that also loves Drupal. Or maybe you don’t love it but at the very least you know it well and will happily work with it because no, our Drupal sites cannot be redone in WordPress. Ever.
Still reading? Ok so we want to build a relationship with someone that we can outsource the development to on a job by job basis. This will suit someone who is self-employed and works from home. It will suit someone who is looking for new clients and wants to build a long term relationship. If you are based in Brisbane, it makes things easier again because of client meetings… our clients do like face-to-face when it comes to confusing things like analytics, SEO and how to use a CMS.
We are a company that is driven by client service. It is all about integrity with us. If we say we will deliver then we will deliver. To do that we need good relationships with good people. We can’t deliver if we have to chase developers who in equal parts hide, or revert to two year old tantrums. Honestly it drives us crazy and we just don’t have the time for that.
If you can communicate effectively with non-devs then you are indeed a unicorn and we just may build a shrine to you. Oh and replying to emails… that would be a whole other level of amazing….. but we are getting carried away now.
