Owned by the City of Holdfast Bay, Alwyndor is the operator of the Dorothy Cheater Trust. We deliver on-site residential care and outreach community and therapy services to the area’s older population. Alwyndor’s long history of caring for the elderly in our community and will continue into the future.

About the Role

Alwyndor are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to assist with the management of our ICT needs. The Systems/Network Administrator is responsible for proactively managing the installation, configuration & overall support of all Alwyndor computing systems/requirements.

The Systems/Network Administrator is expected to:

• Implement, upgrade and maintain both new and current computing systems for enhanced functionality, security and issue resolution 
• Manage technical installs and project coordination with vendors and suppliers 
• Perform troubleshooting across LAN/WAN and WI-FI 
• Perform periodic Disaster Recovery (DR) testing 
• Ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organisation’s and guest ICT infrastructure; including server and network hardware, server software and desktop applications 
• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems 
• Respond to and resolve help desk requests 
• Manage network infrastructure
• Manage all IOT and Smart Handheld devices through-out the organisation 
• Monitor existing systems to ensure business continuity, security and data integrity
• Write custom scripts/API’s to reduce the need for human intervention and improved data management and automation between disparate systems.  
• IT asset management and delivery of continuous improvement projects 
• Develop, monitor and maintain data security and compliance
• Contributing to developing and steering Alwyndor through a digital transformation with innovation aligning UX and CX 

Required Skill and Attributes:

• Experience in system engineering and IT support 
• Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of Microsoft based software suites and packages on and off-premises (including cloud based solutions, SharePoint, O365, MS Azure and AWS) 
• Experience managing enterprise systems 
• Strong skills in managing Windows Server 2012, GP and Active Directory, and Azure AD environments 
• Experience creating automated scripts, API’s and software 
• Proven experience working within virtualised environments (Hyper-V, VMWare) 
• Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server framework and related database functions 
• Experience in NAS and SAN infrastructure 
• Understanding and experience working within complex and dynamic network builds 
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Office 365 Admin centre across SharePoint, Exchange Online, Skype for Business, OneDrive, Power Apps etc 
• Manage time efficiently and effectively with focus on project timelines implementation schedules 
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills 
• Ability to provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences
