You will be responsible for facilitating an Organisational 'Current State Assessment - CSA' of their procurement and sourcing practices. Recommending changes to their operational and governance practices, obtain Management and Executive Support to implement these recommendations through to a Business As Usual (BAU), operational model that will drive both tangible and intangible benefits.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Develop, lead and execute an organisational current state assessment of their procurement and sourcing practices across both the Business and Technology disciplines.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking including tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Partner with the internal teams to understand the existing practices and to assist in the collation of key artefacts.
Work with key suppliers to capture the engagement and commercial operating model
Provide clear and precise recommendations for Management and Executive approval
Implement the recommendations and transition new Procurement operating model into a BAU state
Required Skills and Experiences
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Proven experience across similar engagements / environments
Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
Excellent time management and organisational ability
Strong written, numerative and verbal skills to communicate with vendors, senior management and other internal customers and stakeholders
