Partnering with this iconic national brand, I am recruiting for a Project Manager with experience running IT infrastructure projects, predominately office relocation and network upgrade/installations. This is an initial 12 month daily rate contract commence ASAP based in Brisbane metro region. (There will be some travel required)
About the role
- Establish and manage effective project operations to deliver quality outcomes.
- Leadership and management of staff, including BA’s and technical Infrastructure engineer’s.
- Manage and develop a team of project employees operating on complex cross functional solutions with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
- Direct all activities including translating business requirements into people, process and technology changes to the agreed cost, quality and timeframe.
- Control all project design and planning activities.
- Define, source & manage necessary project resources.
- Control project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan.
- Prepare project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring project financials.
- Exceed stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder and change management disciplines.
About you
- Proven experience leading multiple office relocations end to end
- 5+ years as a Project Manager
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key services, operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
- PMP or Prince2 Certification.
- First Level University degree (preferred).
- Experience with office relocation and fit outs is essential
- Exposure to activity based working or hot desk sets ups is advantageous
- Experience with managing multiple external vendors
- Exceptional time management skills- you will be running multiple simultaneous projects
- Exceptional change management experience
- Solid negotiation skills to overcome obstacle quickly
- Able to drive and manage multiple sub-contractor organizations
- Strong stakeholder and conflict management
