Infrastructure Project Manager

• 6 Month Project
• Start Immediate
• Large Enterprise Program

Green Light are delivering a large enterprise infrastructure project for a leading Telecommunications customer.

Typical Projects:

• Typical medium to large projects will be Carriage + WAN/LAN + WiFi + Internet links + VoIP (SIP) + WIP VPN (4G)
• Project size may vary from 50 to 150+ sites.
• More complex projects include Security (onsite or cloud based), managed firewall services, Skype for Business (SFBaaS), hosted storage, cloud  connectivity (AWS/Azure), Data Centre, hosted DC.
• Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS), Unified Comms (UCaaS), Video conferencing, Collaboration (Cisco).
• Typical project duration will be 6 months – 18 months depending
• Work is often carried outside of business hours as it will impact customer sites or datacentre services. You will need to coordinate resources to manage site cutovers and be available for escalations during that period.  

Skills:

• Carriage, WAN/LAN, WiFi technologies (mandatory)
• Cloud & Firewall technologies (ideal)
• Contact Centre technologies (nice to have)
• Strong communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
• Matrixed project environment – shared resources, onshore/offshore & external vendor delivery
• MS Project Server environment. Methodology is customised PMBOK environment. Project financials are in SAP.
