Aveo, Australia's leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking an experienced, motivated and pro-active IT Operations Analyst based in our Brisbane corporate office in a full time role 

About the role: 

Reporting to the IS Technical Solutions Engineer, you will provide support and expertise on the operation of Aveo IS infrastructure and systems. 

Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Actively maintain AVEO server farm company wide
• Actively maintain and champion appropriate security mechanisms within the domain
• Maintain email management software to ensure safety of email system
• Implement security update wherever appropriate
• Ensure all server backups are completed successfully and tested monthly
• Provide support to systems implementations projects
• Provide infrastructure and logistic support to group-wide projects
• Responsibility for timely completion of all escalated service incidents and act as a second-level escalation point for service incidents and problems

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline or appropriate significant equivalent IT experience
• Industry certification such as MCSE or MCP
• Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols especially TCP/IP and Ethernet technologyKnowledge of MS Exchange and Office 365 administration
• Knowledge and application of Microsoft patching regimes
• Experience in backup management
• Experience with automation of routine administration tasks using scripting technologies
• Demonstrated experience maintaining diverse operating environments, ranging from desktop PCs through to Server-based computing software (e.g. Citrix);
• Experience managing enterprise applications including Citrix, Exchange, and Microsoft SQL Server among others;
• Practical knowledge of contemporary networking topologies and troubleshooting techniques.
• Well developed communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to produce concise and accurate technical documentation
• Self-discipline and the ability to work to timelines for the effective delivery of projects
• Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to manage expectations
• Substantial experience with Windows Server 2012/2016 and Windows 10
