We are looking for Service Designer to work with multi-disciplinary product teams to refine and apply service design methods for end users delivering an efficient and user-centred service experience. The outcome will be a world class government digital services that improves government information and services, with a focus on web standards, usability and accessibility.
This role is in a Commonwealth Government environment hence the client is limited to accepting Australian Citizenship only. Those with a security clearance will have an advantage.
As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in the design of digital services for large organisations and have experience in working in a User Centred Design environment. As a result you will be involved in mapping end users touchpoints and highlight these then designing solutions to address them.
The role will require you to be experienced in:
- Mapping complex service environments
- Producing user scenarios, service experience concepts
- blueprints and detailed service design
- Have worked in operational services
- Presenting persuasively to senior stakeholders
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement
- Working as part of an Agile team
