A leading and reputable global IT company is currently looking to hire an experienced DB2 Systems Administrator to join the Business Tools Support team of Distributed Computing on a permanent basis in Canberra ACT.

The Business Tools Support team is placed within the Service Management and Reporting Directorate and is responsible for the day to day administration of all components of the TITAN (Tivoli Integrated Tools for Analysis of the Network) service that supports Customer's information Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing operational support to the IBM DB2 database running in a Unix environment.
• Develop and Automate solutions.
• Provide resolution of level 1 and 2 incidents and problems associated with IBM DB2 database.
• Working in a dynamic environment with exposure to the latest IBM Network Monitoring Products.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of the implementation and support of IBM Tivoli products (NOI 1.4, Unix, Tivoli ITNM).
• Experience working in a secure environment.
• Experience in a service delivery environment (server related) of 2-3 years.
• Experience performing UNIX/Linux-administration across Red Hat based systems.
• Experience working with Databases and SQL.
• Flexible approach with good time management skills.
• Team player with an interest in coaching more junior team members.

Please note that due to the security requirements of the role, candidates MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS and hold an active Baseline clearance with the ability to submit a clearance pack to the level of Negative Vetting 2.
