CoreData is seeking a highly ambitious and passionate software engineer who is ready to lead the end-to-end digital function.

The successful candidate will be offered full time employment, must be willing to travel and only candidates with permanent residency in Australia or Australian citizenship should apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your duties and responsibilities include:

• Management of local and offshore development team

• Building front-end tools that will provide unique insights to clients that cannot be achieved with paper-based reports

• Managing quantitative research platforms, consumer and professional panels and inhouse market research software

• Assisting with data management, including transfer from clients, development of database management systems and maintenance and improvement of current systems.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneur with experience in software development, databases and digital media. You have a degree related to computer science or information systems and technology.

To be successful in this role you must also:

• Have strong knowledge of relational database management systems

• Be able to demonstrate strong capability in SQL programming

• Experience with software development and user experience

• Experience with back end development, mainly PHP or Python is preferred

• Experience with front end development, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript

• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Be professional with strong interpersonal and organisational skills

• Have excellent attention detail

• Have excellent time management

• Be creative and resourceful

• Have the ability to lead a team in a face paced environment
