What will you be doing
As a Tier 1 Engineer in our Network Operating Centre (NOC) you will be responsible for monitoring incidents for our customer managed services and proactively communicate and resolve them.
Your role will entail technical diagnostics and restoration of data services, resolving on first call or escalating where necessary, but always keeping customers informed and up to date.
Rostered shifts based on a 24x7 ‘always on’ schedule
About you
- Previous experience in a NOC/ Contact Centre environment in a similar role is recommended
- You have a good knowledge of:
- Data Networks
- configuring firewall and routers
- Network monitoring tools and protocols (MRTG, RRD, NAGIOS, SNMOP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
- Troubleshoot issues in CISCO or Juniper environments
- Accreditation in CISCO or Juniper
- You love problem solving and are always up for a challenge
- You are resilient and adaptable
- You are a current Australian Citizen - eligible for security clearance
