The Company
This brand-name e-Retailer has taken Australia by storm, fast becoming Australia's leading retailer in their niche. They require the engagement of a capable Front End Engineer to take accountability for the development of their front-end capability and join their stable, friendly and professional team.

You will work with a team of collaborative, collegiate and dynamic full-stack engineers to develop all web and mobile applications. 
  
The Opportunity
The Front End Developer will have an eye for detail, with experience in eCommerce or other environments that focus on CRO through UI enhancement. The role has a number of core deliverables:
 

• Deliver front-end technology through writing clean, elegant, performant HTML/CSS code
• Design the technology and features through working closely with other engineers, QAs, BA’s and the product team
• Translate designs and wireframes into HTML/CSS code
• Contribute to the continues development of the open-source virtual-DOM powered UI framework

  
The Requirement
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2+ years of front-end development experience, with previous software development experience prior to this likely. Knowledge of PHP development would be beneficial but not essential. Commercial experience with some or all of the following is essential:

• Advanced Javascript, CSS and HTML
• Experience coding from scratch without a framework
• Creating reusable, high performing code with faithfulness to design
