Our clients read like the who’s who of the industry – Toyota, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Honda, Harley-Davidson, Jaguar Land Rover, IVECO, Pedders, Macquarie Leasing, Eric Insurance, KTM, Honda MPE, plus many dealers deal directly with us. We have secured major contract in China which exposes us to new opportunities. In last couple of years, we have been announced 8th in the BDO Fast Movers competition for SA and ranked 75th in the Australian Financial Review National Fast Starters program.

We are looking for a Certified Cloud System Architect to work within Op2ma IT team as an architecture design and configuration subject matter expert. Successful applicant should have technology skills and experience to lead the efforts to appraise, improve and modernise existing information architecture and systems - vision, design and system architecture strategy of Op2ma’s cloud platforms.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Work closely with IT manager on architecture improvements and design solutions
• Provide expert level advice to the business to leverage the cloud service offering
• Review and monitor the solution security infrastructure and provide advice on potential security improvements
• Answer client queries on solution architecture design, security measurements, etc.
• Prepare documentation/presentation on the topic such as solution architecture brief

Technical Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Industry certificate cloud architect, AWS-Professional Certified Solutions Architect certificate is preferred
• You will have relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT/Computer Science or related discipline
• Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of using AWS and/or Azure to create reusable business services in cloud by leveraging full cloud potential services (like VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, Cloud Security Controls, RDS and not only infrastructure)
• Experience in deploying business required functionalities through integrated patterns consuming public cloud service offerings
• Experience in operating system of the Linux environment
• Experience with server side languages such as PHP and database such as MySQL
• Experience with web application deployment utilising the public cloud service offering
• Knowledge of core networking and WAN technologies and security best practices
• Knowledge of information security, compliance, ISO standards, etc
