Our client based in Sydney's Western Suburbs is looking to hire a Support Specialist for their Wintel/Citrix support team.
Primary technical knowledge is around Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop (6.x and 7.x)
Day to Day Responsibilities
Rostered after-hours support work is required as part of this role

Primary technical knowledge is around Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop (6.x and 7.x)
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is working with customers, vendors and internal staff to resolve incidents and deliver service requests within SLA requirements across their Citrix DaaS and Wintel hosted environments
- Assisting project technical staff on project tasks and implementation of related tools/processes for improving data centre efficiency and monitoring
- Engaging with the support helpdesk team to transition knowledge and processes
Rostered after-hours support work is required as part of this role
Technical Skills and Experience
- Support and maintenance of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop (6.x and 7.x, Studio, Director, Storefront and PVS (highly regarded if you have experience with Citrix monitoring tools such as Citrix Insight)
- Microsoft Windows platform support - Server OS administration and support, knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Windows; file/print, group policy, patch management
- Experience supporting/administering centralised AV security software (e.g. Trend Micro Suite)
- Experience with Citrix Application Layering would be ideal but not essential
- Previous experience working within a large technical environment is essential

- Friendly and outgoing
