Casual position available for a Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join a well known government organisation
Your New Company
Our client is a well know organisation within the government sector who is in need of your assistance! Due to some major changes in a system they are using, they require a contractor on multiple occasions across the months of July and August.
You’re new Role
This position requires someone for a total of 8 days spread out across July and August. They require someone to drive to multiple points across the wheat belt region to help set up and set down laptops and computers for a number of training sessions they will be running.
For example - Drive from Perth to Northam to set up the laptops and drive back in the same day. You will then drive back to Northam once the training session is done, and take the laptops back to Perth until the next training session, of which you will repeat to a different destination.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you must be available to drive on the below dates. You are also welcome to stay overnight in places (At your own expense if this is easier - You will still be paid for the day whether you decide to drive back to Perth or not). I have stated below the time it take to drive in between each stop.

- Friday 10/08 Perth (1.23hrs) Northam (1.59hrs) Narrogin (2.23hrs) Perth
- Thursday 16/08 Perth (2.23hrs) Narrogin (2.23hrs) Perth
- Friday 17/08 Perth (2.12hrs) Morra (2.12hrs) Perth
- Thursday 23/08 Perth (2.12hrs) Morra (2.12hrs) Perth
- Friday 24/08 Perth (3.5hrs) Merredin (3.5hrs) Perth
- Thursday 30/08 Perth (3.5hrs) Merredin (3.5hrs) Perth
As this requires you to drive, you MUST have an update WA Drivers licence.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive day rate and the potential opportunity to work further with this client beyond the contract. This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t mind driving long distances (The longest distance being around 3.5 hours).
