The Role/Product

You’ll be working on a large-scale mobile web app with over 250,000 users.

Currently built on AngularJS and vanilla JavaScript, your first project will be to help re-engineer the platform from the ground up using a more modern framework and a microservice architecture. You'll be a key part of deciding how that's done including whether to use Angular5, React or Vue.
  
As a Senior JavaScript Developer you’ll act as project lead from time-to-time and play a key role in the shape and technical direction of projects. You will be recommending tools and tech to improve to the platform as well as writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.

The Company

A rapidly expanding tech startup in the Sydney CBD is looking for an experienced JavaScript Developer ahead of a number of upcoming Greenfield projects.
  
Working from state of the art offices overlooking the waterfront, you’ll be joining a collaborative, quality driven product-build environment. You can expect free lunch 5 days a week, fully stocked kitchens and a well-stocked beer fridge for Friday afternoon.
  
The technology function currently consists of circa 25 software engineers broken down into several smaller, cross skilled project teams.
  
Key Skills and Experience

You’ll need at least 5-years commercial experience working as a JavaScript Developer, and ideally, you will have worked in a tech start-up and/or product-build environment before.
  
You’ll also need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of:

• Javascript
• Angular or React or Vue
• CI/CD
• TDD.
