The role
The Digital Manager for Finance, Procurement and Legal has end-to-end technology accountability across the finance, procurement and legal systems area including technology strategy, commercials, business engagement and delivery.
The role involves translating business strategy into meaningful technology roadmaps, enhancing delivery capabilities and driving improvements across the relevant enterprise applications including SAP.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- experience with designing, implementing and supporting finance, procurement and legal IT systems
- formulated IT strategy as well as execution of key initiatives
- high capability managing relationships with senior leaders
- sound financial acumen and project governance skills
- proven experience in project delivery and change management
- knowledge of SAP FICO module or other large enterprise resource planning technologies
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- take accountability for business engagement and delivery across the Finance, Procurement and Legal Systems sub-platforms including technology strategy, portfolio management, and commercials
- lead a team of 5-10 people comprised of permanent team members, contractors and vendor resources
- translate business strategy into meaningful technology roadmaps that define the evolution of the technology stack resulting in resilience, simplification and sustainability
- manage demand and oversee development including design, build, test, and transition of all projects and solutions in the sub-platform
- provide portfolio level governance including resource and schedule planning, and oversight and reporting of project progress, risks and progress against allocated budget
- use innovative new technologies and automation to continually drive down the cost of business through enhanced efficiency, process standardisation and constant automation
