My client is a large Government Agency based in Eveleigh and currently has a 12 month contract requirement for a Project Adminstrator to come on board and provide support across a range of IT project that they are currently undertaking.
The successful incumbent will have a proven track record working across an enterprise wide portfolio of projects, have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and excellent communcation skills.
Role accountabilities:
- Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects.
- Maintain register of compliance with endorsed project management methodology, ITIL change management process and other organisational policies for audit purposes.
- Contribute to the development of project plans under the guidance of a Project Manager to develop future capability.
- Research and analyse options in relation to business case and project deliverables to guide optimal decision-making.
- Coordinate administrative tasks to support projects, including document productions and collation of materials, travel and accommodation arrangements, and meeting coordination in a timely and effective manner
- Assist with financial and workforce transactional activities, including purchasing, invoice processing, and time sheet management to support business requirements; ensure adherence to Departmental policies and processes
- Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project and team
- Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain appropriate records
