• 12 month initial contract

• $900 - $940 + super p/d

The Solution Architect is responsible for the architectural design of the windows infrastructure and to successfully migrate domain users to the State-wide infrastructure service environment (SWIS). 

The ideal candidate will have previously led complex migration projects and integrated enterprise level systems and domains. 

Key Accountabilities

• Be responsible for and work with the Program Solution Architect to own the end to end solution design and architecture for enabling domain migration for users, groups, desktops and files from legacy environments to the State-Wide Active Directory
• Assist the migration Project Managers to plan migration processes and activities
• Ensure processes are designed and built which are repeatable and fit for purpose in a large enterprise environment
• Understand the existing State-Wide Active Directory and develop and manage the migration strategy and processes for multiple environments and infrastructure.
• Ensure current State-Wide standards and policies are up to date and are suitable for a State-Wide migration
• Work with the Program solution architect to develop solutions for File and Desktop migrations
• Work with the State-Wide printer project to assist with the migration capabilities and solution dependencies for workstation migrations 

Essential/Desired requirements

• Leading complex Enterprise Infrastructure projects especially working in large complex environments
• Previous experience leading a solution design 
• Experience developing complex technology solutions that require integration with a number of enterprise systems and domains 
• Must show previous experience, supporting and designing large scale IT infrastructures, where there were multiple Active Directory forests requiring remediation
• Be familiar with the following technologies:
  • Active Directory - domain migration experience
  • NTFS File permissions
  • SCCM
  • Enterprise print solutions
• Ideally have come from a technical background 
• Highly desirable: Large environment support and design experience 

This role will require travelling between Liverpool, Camperdown, North Sydney, Chatswood
