Role:

Installing telecommunications cable (Cable Hauling)
Installing telecommunications pipe and pipe
Locating, replacing and removing redundant cable
Locating existing faults in the Telecommunications network using Locating transmission devices and rodders to prove fault location
Examining drawings (plans), specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.
Excavation - Trenching and digging back on existing cable to replace or install Telstra/NBN network.

Minimum accreditations required:

Construction white card
Excavation Verification of competency
Accredited pit and pipe certification
Accredited cable hauling certification
First aid and CPR - current
Traffic control Level II
HR truck licence
Asbestos Removal
