International bank in Sydney’s CBD seeking Senior Automation (DevOps) Engineers to work on new cloud platform
Your new company
A leading International bank in Sydney’s CBD are seeking Senior Automation (DevOps) Engineers to work on brand new internal cloud platform.
Your new role
Your new role will see you work on a brand new internal cloud based platform to replace the use of third parties (such as AWS, Azure and GCP). Although this bank do have a number of large IT teams, due to the specialized nature of this internal cloud platform creation project the teams are small in scale and highly specialized.
As a member of one of these teams, you will have complete ownership of your work which requires researching solutions, making decisions and owning the results. You will need a passion for automation as well as development as you will be working with a range of DevOps tools in conjunction with Go/Golang (if you do not possess commercial Go/Golang experience but have extensive experience with Java, Python etc. and have a keen interest to learn then this is just as good).
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong experience in the following:
- Go/Golang, Java and Python
- DevOps tools such as Docker, Ansible and Jenkins
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
