Role - Audio Visual Project Assistant
Location: Sydney CBD
Duration: 6 Months
My client is about to undertake a major upgrade to the audio visual equipment in their office buildings across Sydney and is seeking the services of an experienced Audio Visual Professional for a 6 month period.
The candidate will possess significant experience in upgrading commercial premises with audio visual equipment including microphones, speakers, media players, flat panel displays, projectors, cabling infrastructure and IT systems.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, operation and troubleshooting of Audio Visual equipment in commercial premises.
- Ability to assemble, operate, test and adjust Audio Visual equipment according to project needs.
- Experience in IT and/or networking.
- Experience in executing medium-to-high scale corporate projects.
- Excellent customer service tactics and communication skills to assist and advise clients on operation of Audio Visual equipment.
- Self-driven individual who can work productively and lead a team.
- Ability to work with client sub-contractors.
- The successful candidate will be involved in the evaluation of audio visual equipment and supply/installation proposals submitted by system integrators.
- The successful candidate will be involved in preparation of Room Plans for the Project detailing civil works required, cabling, location of new services and existing services to be removed.
- High proficiency in the use of MS Project and MS Office suite / SharePoint.
