• Knows their stuff: at least 5 years' experience coding
• Has done their time: is degree qualified in computer science or similar
• Owns it: is both great at what they do and sees projects through to completion
• Can join the dots: is able to take both specific direction and business/product objectives then design and build a great product
• Communicates clearly: understands the power of great documentation and effectively works in a team environment
