Reporting to the Head of IT Heart Care, the Full Stack Developer role is to co-design, build, test & implement world class software solutions with specialised knowledge of the stages of software development.

These innovative projects require communication skills, problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, trained in programming languages & data structures and knowledge of best practices. We are looking for dynamic individuals that have the ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

• Tertiary qualifications in a IT related field e.g. IT Computer Science

• 3+ years’ experience in software development

• Familiar with agile software development methodology

• Good understanding of Javascript libraries and frameworks - ReactJS, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS

• Proficient knowledge of backend programming languages - PHP, Python (desired)

• Strong understanding of database design and management – MSSQL, MySQL, Postgress (desired)

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable web application

• Linux admin skills would be an advantage

• Healthcare industry experience would be an advantage
