Be part of the Product Development team who have embarked on a bold venture to develop the ‘Pulse’ global transportation solution. The Pulse product combines Vix’s experience, innovations and systems, into one core ticketing offering that sits at the heart of transport systems. Pulse is vibrant, living and responsive with the ability to meet changing demand seamlessly and in real time.
As Vix progresses along the Pulse pathway, we have identified new opportunities for a Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of this passionate and innovative team. In this critical position, you will work closely with our Product Owners to define, execute and maintain our Acceptance Tests and coordinate with cross functional teams to support the test program development.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Create, execute and maintain Acceptance Test plans.

Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with the Product teams.

Create and validate test data required to exercise various system components and functions.

Perform analysis of test results and prepares test reports which verify and validate the quality of the product.

Incorporate industry standard approaches, methodologies and perspectives to our test development process.

Identify areas of opportunity for test automation and convert manual testing into automated frameworks as required.

Undertake investigations into root-cause analysis of failures and recommend solutions to the development team for resolution.

Contribute to the improvement of the platform's integration and performance tests.

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT related discipline is desirable
