A large telco in Melbourne seeks a Business Analyst for an initial 6 month contract working on data and performance related projects. You will have several years of experience, ideally working to an Agile or Waterfall methodology.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops to analyse business needs and requirements based on consultation with key stakeholders, and advise the most suitable business process and/or solution
• Responsible for completing the requirements documentation (JIRA/Confluence) with assistance from subject matter experts who are familiar with the impacted areas
• Partner with relevant project stakeholders to ensure traceability between business requirements and functional / non-functional requirements for planned changes/solutions
• Help project and deployment managers define and plan for changes to each process and/or solution.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Experience in analysing business requirements and translating into functional and non-functional requirements
• Works well both autonomously and as part of a team - A self-starter who can produce quality work consistently, and who is task and action focussed
• Demonstrates a commitment to achieving results, including a world class customer experience
• Competent in resolving business analysis issues and challenges as required whilst liaising with multiple business and technical subject matter experts
• Experience analysing data sets and reports
• Experience analysing business processes end-to-end.
