Short Description:

Working as Consultant Involving Requirements Elicitation and Solution Design on a variety of projects with Telstra.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Understand the client requirements quickly and participate in the design discussions to provide E2E solutions in the respective area.
• Understand and translate requirements into a standard solution offering approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings.

• Contribute to the design, specification, development, testing and implementation of improvements and modifications to existing software systems and projects.

• Works with customers, end-users, technical analyst, and application designers to define the requirements and structure for Business Intelligence (BI) applications.

• Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing software and systems.
• Produce technical documentation for new and existing software and systems.

• Being responsible for the on-time delivery of fully qualified applications that satisfy client expectations.

• Work with developers, designers, and architects to make sure that, the configuration and custom components to meet application requirements and performance goals.
• Ensure all code produced is of a high quality and maintains the security of software and systems.

• Coordinating with internal resources and stakeholders in an Agile environment, ensuring that projects are delivered incrementally and always being able to pivot in order to deliver maximum value.
• Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve functionality-related issues and technical issues.

Skill / Experience Requirements:
• Good experience in Java/J2EE, Web and Telecom based projects.
• Must have experience in Telecom OSS / BSS processes and Order management and assurance process flows.
• Hands on experience in different frameworks like Spring, AMDOCS Clarify, Hibernate, RESTful web services.
• Strong knowledge on AMDOCS 7.5 Classic client ASMS architecture.
• Working experience in AMDOCS 7.5 Classic client with components like APM, ASMS, SOM, etc.
• Have good experience in various databases like MySQL and Oracle.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools, like Jenkins.

• Release Management Processes, Coordination and Planning Process and connecting points with DevOps and CI/CD.

• Experience on GIT and Kiln repository’s, creating project in Kiln, defining project structure in it, creating sub branches, code merging from one branch to another, code pull, push and etc.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies Good communication skills.

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Preferred:

• Candidates with knowledge on Communications domain, Amdocs and Order management fulfilment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of telecom industry, relevant technical architecture, and industry standards.
• Experience in leading team in cross- domain solution within the organization.
