Our client, a large, internationally focused, Federal Government Organisation, is Seeking the experience of a ServiceNow Developer for a 12+6 month contract opportunity located in South Canberra, Barton.
Working in a multi-disciplinary applications development team, the primary duties of the ServiceNow Developer will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in providing ServiceNow solutions to clients;
- Leverage your experience and knowledge to deliver end-to-end solutions, including technical; implementation of processes, workflow customisation, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation & System configurations;
- Design and deliver technical solutions based on the ServiceNow platform and assist clients with proof of concepts, design work sessions and stakeholder engagement;
To be considered for this long ServiceNow Developer contract opportunity you must have:
- A Baseline Security Clearance (in order to obtain your NV1)
- The ability to learn new applications quickly (ServiceNow experience not mandatory);
- Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders to transform business and technical requirements into implementation plans;
- Experience formulating testing approaches, developing test cases and deploying code in defined releases;
- Demonstrated experience using PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX and similar technologies to deliver solutions that automate and audit business processes;
- Experience planning, prioritising and managing workloads in an Agile development environment;
- Proficient experience working with workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs and notifications;
- Strong development skills to deliver products that achieve a high customer experience (easy self-service and intuitive navigation);
- Solid understanding of application development lifecycle processes using Agile methodologies;
- Demonstrated experience supporting ServiceNow configuration and administration (desired);
- ServiceNow Development experience particularly JavaScript, AngularJS and Apache Jelly (desired);
- Proven integration experience between ServiceNow and third-party tools and applications (desired);
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science (desired);
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (desired);
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer &/or Implementation Specialist (desired).
