This SAP BW Team provide SAP Business warehouse, data cubes and reporting services to QLD Government Agencies. The Team currently have a contract role available to start mid July through until end of November 2018. Rate on offer is up to $146.30 per hour commensurate experience.
Your Experience
- Extensive experience (at least 7 years) Developing, implementing and maintaining SAP application BW authorisation and user access management solutions. Experience in SAP BW 3.5, 7.5 is highly desirable.
- Analytical and conceptual problem solving with respect to large volume production data and custom data transformation using ABAP
- Design Studio
- Supporting integration, user acceptance testing and user education
Responsibilities
- Assist and mentor SAP BW support staff in designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and managing application BW authorisation to cost effectively meet business requirements in the delivery of SAP application solutions to Agencies.
- Analyse and solve complex SAP application BW problems to provide innovative solutions in the delivery of SAP application BW solutions and support to Agencies.
- Complete system design, specification, development, unit testing and maintenance and associated documentation of the BW solutions, in strict compliance with QSS BW, development and other applicable standards.
- Contribute to project work and strategic or improvement analysis and advice to management on BW and associated issues and initiatives including risk and issue identification and management.
- Undertake quality assurance processes to ensure integrity and compliance status of the system.
- Assist with investigations into issues relating to SAP system BW.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of client business requirements, legislative requirements and current trends and product developments within the IT industry and provide advice.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution.
- Contribute to effective, client focussed teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of team members within the team, and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to quality and customer service.
