Exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead one of the most talented Java based engineering teams in Australia. Working for one of the world’s largest eCommerce companies as a Software Development Manager, your focus will be growing high performing teams and driving development across the core product platforms.

To make Sparks fly you will have:

• 6+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience motivating and leading high-performing teams
• Solid backend development experience using Java (JEE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring, SQL etc.)
• Proven experience in developing RESTful webservices
• Proven expertise solving in application memory or performance issues
• Exposure to database development and design with MySQL
• Understanding of front end technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Angular2, AJAX)
• Strong knowledge of web application architecture and infrastructure
• Genuine passion for technology
• Excellent communication skills with a positive energy
