Our client and role:

Our client, an industry-leading employer of choice with their HQ based in Perth are seeking the skills and services of an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract to commence ASAP. 

Key requirements of the role: 

• Analysing and developing software for high-level technical design specifications
• Providing support and maintenance services to new web application upgrades.
• Design, coding, testing system applications from specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered product application. 

Essential experience required:

• Extensive background as a Software Engineer in Java, J2EE, Spring,  MSSql, BC4J, JSP, Spring, JSF / JDeveloper, Eclipse, MSSQL Enterprise Manager and Microsoft Visual Studio (Reporting Services are highly regarded.
• Solid experience coding, developing from technical design specs. 
• Can coordinate and support testing activities.
• Commercial background in providing support, maintenance and bug fixing services for core Java web applications.
