What you do
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the technology network for the enterprise. They will also be involved in the planning and development of the network, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. The Senior Network Engineer will have an active role in:
- Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure
- Resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated
- Mentoring team members and addressing user needs
What you need
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant industry experience)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role / environment
- Strong Secure works and Akamai experience
- Strong 802.11 and 802.1x experience
- Extensive experience in implementation and operational based networking technology
- Knowledge of SD-WAN Technologies
- Be across the emerging threat landscape and vendor technology countermeasures.
- Strong technical capabilities to be able to navigate through complex network and security environments and policy criteria.
- Senior level IP/MPLS networking experience in an enterprise networking environment;
- Strong next generation firewall design experience including advanced threat protection and SIEM integration
- Strong operational experience in line with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Demonstrated high degree of self-motivation, preparedness to accept responsibility, and the ability to facilitate the development of innovative solutions to problems
