Mid-Level Software Engineer
Join one of Australia's leading educational technology service providers, which due to continual growth and development, is in search of a strong and passionate Mid-Level Software Engineer that has a few years of commercial experience, specifically on backend Java and frontend Javascript/Angularjs.
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will contribute towards application development of their core software as a service application (SaaS) and ensure that all code is tested as part of development tasks. 20% of the job detail will entail you working alongside customer support to gauge on the feedback from the platform users, and 80% will focus more towards the product team and coding new ways of efficiency and development. This is a great chance to make your mark in the Software Development world for a successful, stable and growing tech startup!
Skills/Requirements:
- Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree
- 2-4 years of commercial experience working as a Full-Stack Java Developer
- Experience working with any Angular frameworks and PostgreSQL is a MUST
- A solid understanding in testing code (unit testing)
- Able to be part of a small dynamic team and work independently with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated ability to meet and maintain deadlines; skilful multi-tasker
- Strong desire and willingness to learn new skills and technologies as required as well as provide new insight to different technological ideas
