• Commitment to confidentiality
• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Training users
• Working closely with other developers and manage the team
• Ensure benching marking and reporting structures
• Ensure user support SLA’s are defined and controlled
• Create, manage and distribution software manuals
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner or to agreed timeframes
• Contribute to software development road-map and discussions

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science desired however demonstrated qualifications may be suitable.
• 5+ years’ experience in web and software development
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and Javascript, .NET, mobile platforms (android, iOS)
• Proficient in agile development
• Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly
• An analytical mind
• The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
• Commercial and business awareness
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
