Reporting to the Information Systems Manager you are part of a team dedicated to the acquisition, implementation and support of information systems environment that enables the student lifecycle from admissions to alumni and the commercial operations that support the growth of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire and maintain and excellent level of detail knowledge of how the College operates and understand how systems and data enable processes and deliver outcomes.
• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders on business priorities, issues and influence the take up of standards, improvements, change and transformation
• Run workshops with clients including parents to establish and develop business needs
• Document needs through user stories, diagramming, charts and other modelling tools to explain and analyse processes and needs to develop and propose solutions to meet needs
• Conduct technical analysis of system options, configurations and operational practices to ensure solutions are accurate, robust, sustainable and affordable. Conduct assessment of competing products and develop selection and acquisition recommendations.
• Work with project managers to assist delivery business transformation. Update needs, work with clients and assist the change processes involved.

Skills:

• High level skills in analysis techniques; workshops, stakeholder reviews, interviewing, data modelling, data management
• Excellent working knowledge of Enterprise information systems including financial management systems and payroll/HRIS and student management systems
• Demonstrated skills in writing requirements specifications, documenting user stories, process diagrams and analysing complex business processes
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of software development and project management methodologies
